I started with the images from the poem: the couple sitting on the bench, their freshly washed clothes fluttering in the breeze, and, in the foreground, the tulips that my grandmother had planted long ago.

Using warm colors for a vibrant spring, I employed a few textured brushes to create a fleeting atmosphere.
