Propaganda - Craft Brewery

Propaganda is a craft brewery in Romania that specializes in unique beer recipes, carefully and lovingly brewed by Alex Stoian.

 

I began working on the project in 2020 when I created the logo design. Conceptually, it was inspired by the idea of a collective of passionate creators focused on key aspects of craft beer recipes. Visually, I incorporated four hands that highlight the essential ingredients, from barley to hops, water, and other spices or fruits.

Label design and Illustration

The illustration for this label depicts the Greek mythological god Kronos, along with an archetypal symbol of time and its passage—an hourglass filled with vanilla beans and cocoa, from which a stream of beer flows through his fingers.

la Llorona-bere

La Llorona (American Amber Ale) | 2020

Label design and Illustration
In the foreground, I have depicted a portrait of La Llorona, a ghost from Mexican folklore, wearing a skull mask, representative of Dia de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead). The legend tells a story of betrayal and sadness, and to reflect these elements, I incorporated the "tears of beer" that surround her.

Desolator (Doppelbock) | 2021

Label design and Illustration
The illustration is based on a cyberpunk theme, telling the story of a rebellious thief who lives in a junkyard, in a dilapidated shipping container, on the outskirts of a city corporate, vibrant, and alluring. Conceptually, I depicted the moment when a genetically enhanced bounty hunter is about to capture him. In the background of the action is a flying car. The color palette focuses on cool shades of blue and purple to convey a dystopian and oppressive atmosphere, contrasted by bright, neon accents of yellow and magenta, which represent the digitized and kitsch environment characteristic of the cyberpunk genre.
