An alternative take on Inktober, dedicated to curiosity about another world. Conceived in collaboration with just wondering… contains a list of key concepts, one for each day of October, to help shed light on pressing issues such as the climate crisis, anti-speciesism, the Anthropocene, the concept of Solarpunk, and many others, as described in the list below, designed to explore beyond anthropocentrism.
A personal project in which I designed some of the concepts in Illustrator, mainly to expand my knowledge of the program and to create a set of resources that can be reused in various contexts.
The complete list of themes conceived by Maria Martelli, based on the ideas we explore in the animated essays from just wondering… . Since this was the first time I took on this challenge, I managed to have fun and discover new visions of a different future, even though I wasn’t able to illustrate all the concepts I had initially proposed. Sometimes it’s nice to participate only partially.
