\n\t\tUn Text, Un Alt Text & Un Text \u00eentr-o p\u0103dure de litere\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

An ongoing project by Maria Martelli, a play on words and interpretations of what might be a TEXT<\/em>.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\tmariamartelli.ro\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t

I collaborated with Maria to create the three zines published to date. I created the cover illustration using typography and graphic elements, as well as the layout, where, based on Maria\u2019s suggestions, I developed the text using different variations of the same font. In this way, each page is in motion, aiming to highlight the dynamics and the many forms it can take.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n

<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t\"Un-text-Coperta\"\n\t\t\t\t\"un\n\t

For the cover of Un Text (A Text)<\/b>, I chose a font that I further edited to create a two- and three-dimensional design, in an attempt to conceptually render its interior and the many ways in which Maria played with the concept of text<\/i>.<\/p>\n

Inside, I used a playful typographic design, in keeping with the symbolism employed, to create variety and a visual composition that adapts and leaves room for improvisation.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"Un-Alt-Text-Coperta\"\n\t\t\t\t\"un\n\t

The second zine, Un Alt Text (Another Text)<\/b>, was released a year after the first one and became a bit more complex. I designed the cover illustration as a continuation of the original, featuring a font that appears to be breaking apart and fading away.<\/p>\n

To achieve this, the typesetting was more varied, with Maria incorporating more punctuation marks to create a visual appearance similar to the written concept. I created some pages that were more visually expressive, as well as others with a stronger message.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"Un-text-padure-Coperta-fata\"\n\t\t\t\t\"Zina-pagina\n\t

Un Text \u00eentr-o p\u0103dure de litere (A Text in a forest of letters)<\/strong>, is the third volume in the collection. It follows the same playful path, where the meaning of words is translated into shapes. The cover depicts a sea of leaf-like letters, in which you can lose yourself visually.<\/p>\n

In this issue, we worked with shapes filled with words, visually rendering the concept from the text, interweaving flowing text with text that takes shape.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"Coperta-mockup\"\n\t
