Al doilea volum de poeme \u0219i eseuri scris de N\u00f3ra Ugron, publicat la MaggaBooks, \u00een 2025.<\/h4>\n

The book is divided into six chapters that explore the author\u2019s struggles and hardships, as well as her journey toward the recognition of the world.<\/h4>\n\t

O colaborare al\u0103turi de N\u00f3ra pentru designul de copert\u0103 al c\u0103r\u021bii \u0219i ilustra\u021bii de capitol. El cuprinde o scriere care prive\u0219te spre lume cu uimire, curiozitate, revolt\u0103, fric\u0103, furie \u0219i speran\u021b\u0103. Adun\u0103 multe ideii feministe \u0219i queer, antispeciiste \u0219i un demers politic\/activist. Este o carte care te ajut\u0103 s\u0103 vezi dincolo de bariere \u0219i care te \u00eendeamn\u0103 la o revolu\u021bie.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\tn\u00f3ra ugron\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\tmagga.ro\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/a>\n\t\t\t\t\"coperta\n\t\t\t\t\"coperta\n\t

The cover<\/strong> merge pe acela\u0219i traseu grafic ca volumul anterior, „Orlando Postuman”, ilustrat de Denisa Nistor (see design here<\/a>), a splash of color paired with a fragment of an illustration found inside. A neon green that reflects the forest world where the writer feels at home. The entire volume features a thematically illustrated series, ranging from various trees and shrubs in different stages of growth, alongside a few birds that appear throughout the book. The concepts were developed in collaboration with the author and reflect different stages of acceptance and rebellion in a world where climate change wreaks havoc, a world where capitalism, colonialism, and militarism become the norms for seizing power.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"coperta\n\t

Disappearances and Defragmentations<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\"Un\n\t\t\t\t\"un\n\t

Chapter I<\/strong>\u00a0It consists of a collection of poems about non-human animals, the world, and hope. For this book, I drew a fir tree with a few curious crows perched on its branches.<\/p>\n

Chapter II<\/strong>\u00a0 consists of three short stories and essays about love and loss. Here, I have illustrated a hawthorn bush teeming with sparrows.<\/p>\n

All the illustrations are in black and white, created with digital pencil strokes and, in some places, watercolor ones.<\/p>\n\t

Devisare (Undreaming)<\/h3>\n\t\t\t\t\"o\n\t

Chapter III<\/strong>\u00a0It consists of poems about love, climate change, and critiques of capitalism. It is a magical chapter, in which I illustrated an owl sleeping on the branches of a tree at night, taking a brief respite from the world around her.<\/p>\n\t

Chapter IV\u00a0<\/strong>depicts a section of a pine forest, with a northern jay flying among the trees. This chapter explores language and speech, belonging and self-representation, from the perspective of a writer-activist. It also includes essays on the Hungarian community and the microaggressions the writer has encountered.<\/p>\n

Chapter V<\/strong> is a short collection of profound poems about writing and what it means to be different\u2014both as a human and a non-human being\u2014and about the shortcomings and losses we encounter as sentient beings lacking agency. Here, the illustration is a close-up of a group of birch trees, a gaze turned back toward the world through the stumps of branches resembling eyes.<\/p>\n\t

Chapter VI<\/strong> is a revolt against the ethnic cleansing and genocide perpetrated by the israelis against the Palestinians. It is about war, murder, and visible, accepted atrocities, which ultimately leave room for hope\u2014that these crimes will be acknowledged, and that the Palestinians\u2019 lands will be returned to them. It is a cry of solidarity, encouragement, and grief.<\/p>\n

For this, I drew an old olive tree that still has a few green branches. The olive tree is a symbol of Palestine and one of the crops that Israel has aggressively destroyed.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\"imagine\n\t\t\t\t\"coperta\n\t\t\t\t\"imagine\n\t\t\t\t\"imagine\n\t\t\t\t\"imagine\n\t
